What no one can promise

Nobody can guarantee a mention in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok or Perplexity. Each tool draws on different sources and changes its behaviour over time, and some answer from training data while others search the web as they reply. Be wary of anyone who sells a guaranteed place in an AI answer.

What you can do is make accurate information about your business easy to find, easy to read and consistent.

The foundations that help

Clear, crawlable pages

One page per service, written as direct answers to questions customers ask, in plain Hindi or English. Text, not text locked inside images.

The same facts everywhere

Business name, services, city, phone and address should match on your site, Google Business Profile and directories.

A complete Google Business Profile

Categories, services, service areas and honest reviews. Google and several assistants use this data.

Structured data

Organization, service, FAQ and breadcrumb markup that matches what visitors see on the page.

Open to crawlers

Your robots.txt should allow the search bots from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity and others. Blocking them removes you from their search features.

Evidence

Case notes, named processes, dates and real examples are easier to cite than slogans.

What is overrated

A file called llms.txt is a harmless plain-text summary of your site. It is not a ranking switch, and no major search engine says it helps. Keyword stuffing, copied city pages and fake reviews do harm. A page that answers a real question well is worth more than any of them.

Measuring it

In Google Analytics, visits that arrive from AI assistants can be tracked. On this site we record them as AI referrals, grouped by assistant, so you can see which assistants send people and to which pages. Search Console shows the Google queries. Both take weeks to show a pattern.
